Back to Basics and Remembrance for My Nanay

Lately, Jojo has been taking it back to the old school days of black and white film.  He’s found a new love in his old Canon FTb manual body, and he’s been having fun shooting all kinds of things.  Here are a few he recently shot and printed himself in the lab.  The titles are listed below each photo.

“Nurse Nanay”

We are very lucky this last image came out.  This was shot this past Monday evening, just minutes before my Nanay (grandmother) took her last breath.  My grandmother died at the ripe old age of 91 after a long and wonderful life.

I am sorry to hear about your nanay. My deepest condolences. She’s at peace wherever she is now.

Anyway, all wonderful photographs. I could drown in the pictures.

Please give my hugs to Jojo and Tiff.
