Today we celebrated Jojo’s birthday! (21 again Jojo???) For lunch, Jojo’s choice was a perfect one: Parsian Market on Convoy in Kearny Mesa. I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of the tender and juicy grilled chicken, lamb, beef, and salmon. The food is always excellent here! Try it if you’re in the area!
Of course, I had to feed my boba addiction. Tapioca Express on Convoy is the only place I know that makes baby boba. By the way, I’m taller than my mom and sister, but the ground sloped and they made me stand on the lower end.
We had a delicious evening at Vagabond Kitchen of the World (thanks to Lindsay and Adam!). We both ordered fish, cuz we love fish, and everything tasted great! The bartender was super nice, and the ambience and decor were very charming.
There’s always room for dessert! I chose La Bombe, and it really was the bomb. I’m getting the almond spongecake next time.
Wouldn’t you know it, somebody ran into our bikes again! It happened this past January while we were in New Zealand, some guy driving on ambien drove straight into our 2 motorcycles. At least today they only hit the GS500, which we never got fixed because it wasn’t insured. I made sure to do my CSI due diligence – I collected evidence from the suspect car and photographed it with a scale (well, a Costco card). How many times does this have to happen before they let us park the bikes inside?!
