Kate and Tai really know how to party! That being said, this was truly a beautiful wedding. From the gardens of Marston House in Uptown, to the endless round tables and 7-course feast at Lucky Star Seafood Restaurant, this is a wedding I will always remember. Kate was so relaxed and at ease the whole day, nothing could go wrong for her. And Tai seemed to have this excited and satisfied look on his face all day.
Now, back to the party! Talk about people that know how to have a good time, this reception was so much fun! Everyone at the reception made me feel welcomed. From pushing shots of Hennessy into my hand (while I was shooting), to giving us food that would last a week, to gettin’ down with us on the dance floor (while I was shooting!), I had such a good time. Thanks Kate & Tai, you really know how to knock a girl’s socks off!
Here are a few images from the day, scroll to the bottom for the slideshow.
Kate was so calm and serene while she got ready. I love when everyone is relaxed!
The Marston House was a perfect place for the ceremony.
We all piled into the small room of Lucky Star Seafood Restaurant. It wasn’t small at all, and it was well-equipped with a great dance floor and tons of lighting. Not to mention the food, that was amazing! Lobster, Peking duck, shark fin soup, honey walnut shrimp…and there was so much more than that!
The Chinese dragons were the coolest! The eye-blinking freaked me out, and the dancers inside really moved like an animal.
I love this shot! Cork flying out, champagne bubbles everywhere!
The first toast of hundreds that night.
The first dance.
The bouquet toss is always a crowd pleaser, especially when the girls go all out to catch it!
This girl was gettin’ down on the dance floor, look at her go!
All the homies bum rushing the groom!
