This wedding was definitely my kind of wedding. Everyone was so laid back and just excited for these two crazy kids. Charyse’s excitement definitely could not be contained; she was dancing all morning while getting ready, jumping up and down on the couch, and strutting up and down the suite to practice walking in her super high heels. I knew right away that this day was going to be non-stop fun.
I never would have thought to hold a wedding at the Hard Rock Hotel. Charyse & Erik set everything up brilliantly! They had a giant, luxurious suite on the 11th floor, complete with a huge balcony overlooking Gaslamp, the Convention Center, and the harbor. The bride, along with her gorgeous entourage, got ready in this suite, then walked right out the back door and down the aisle. That’s right, Charyse and Erik proclaimed their love for one another from the highest rooftop for all the world to hear! The wedding balcony quickly transformed to the cocktails balcony before everyone moved downstairs to a beautiful ballroom, complete with rock memorabilia through the decades.
The mother of the bride was a natural, the camera just LOVED her!
“Charyse! Over here, Charyse! Who are you wearing today? Tell us about your latest movie!” The paparazzi was all over this superstar!
They prepared their own vows for each other. Erik had a few funny things to say.

Erik modified this kick-ass guitar as a surprise and displayed it during the cocktail hour. Photos were taken by the lovely, talented Hung C. Tran. This is the coolest thing I’ve ever seen at a wedding! I love it! I want one my own with pictures of Jojo and I!
