This manic Monday was a return to some of my beloved passions, which I’ve neglected lately due to a busy shooting/editing schedule. My sunny and 70 degrees morning started out with a relaxing ride on my 2002 Suzuki SV650S. It’s been months since I got to ride, it just made more sense for Jojo to use the bike everyday over the summer. Now that school’s started, I’m back in the saddle, so to speak.
Later this evening, after some amazingly delicious Persian food at the Parsian Market on Convoy, I got to play some ping pong!!! Again, it’s been at least 4 months since I’ve played. I’ve been so busy trying to get Felici Photography off the ground, I had to sacrifice my evenings and weekends at the San Diego Table Tennis Association. I just missed it so much, and I decided I would play today no matter what! It was great! And I’m out of shape. ;P
To cap off this great day, we stopped at Yog-Art on the way home for some taro/vanilla swirl yogurt topped with ripe mangos! MMMMMMMMMM!!! Check out the photo from my iPhone: sweet and decadent vanilla on the left, tart and purple taro on the right, orangy-yellow and super-soft mangos all around! It’s like candy, I’m drooling again!
Now it’s back to the daily grind, got a shoot tomorrow and Wednesday, then a wedding on Saturday! Don’t get me wrong, I love being busy and I really love all this shooting we’ve been doing. No complaints here! But it was nice to revisit some of my other passions in life.
P.S. I highly recommend Parsian Market, we’ve never had chicken kabob so good in our lives. And you all know how I feel about Yog-Art, about it being the best yogurt spot in San Diego.
