Now is the time to strike! If you have been waiting/procrastinating to do something, this is the day to do it. For today is an ominous day when the sun, moon, and earth will be in perfect alignment. During totality of a solar eclipse, strange things are said to happen. Stars appear in the midday sky, shamans dance to appease the dead spirits, those holding an ax or knife will cut themselves, and pets will open their mouths to speak to their owners! Actually, I made that last one up. But wouldn’t that be so cool??? If, during solar eclipses, your pet could speak to you in a human language!
Too bad I am not currently located in Greenland, the Arctic, Russia, Mongolia, or China. I never get to see these things! I would probably go blind if there was a solar eclipse here, I know I wouldn’t be able to resist looking at it in all its majesty. Of course I will be watching the live webcast on NASA TV, tune in with me!
