Felici Lives Here

Today we attended a Pictage User Group meeting to see Jasmine Star , an amazing wedding photographer from Orange County.  Among all of the valuable advice and super detailed personal stories told at the speed of light (she talks really fast), I came away with a ton of inspiration.  She kept coming back to the same thing with each story she told, be yourself and keep it real.  That really inspires me.

It’s always scary when you take a risk with anything.  Starting a business is a big deal for us, and putting myself out there on this blog is a big deal for me.  I see such a long road ahead of me, and it’s advice like this that brings me back to the here and now so I can focus on the baby steps before the giant leaps.

My goal is to keep it real and work super hard at photography.  If anyone catches me being something other than myself, PLEASE say something and STOP me.  Throw a shoe at me, or spam my email account!  I may not even know what I’ve done, I think there’s still lots to learn about myself (not to mention photography).
